Sizing Guide

Finding the right size is one of the most important parts of your Sona Ring experience.

Unlike traditional jewelry, Sona Ring contains advanced sensors that require a secure fit to provide accurate wellness tracking. Your ring should feel snug, but comfortable — tight enough that it won't rotate freely, but loose enough to remove without discomfort.

Should I Size Up?

In most cases, no.

Sona Ring is manufactured using standard US ring sizes, so if you already know your US ring size, we recommend ordering your normal size.

However, because Sona Ring is wider than a traditional ring (approximately 7–8.5mm depending on the model), it may feel slightly tighter than a thin jewelry band.

We recommend sizing up only if:

  • You're between two ring sizes.
  • You prefer a looser fit.
  • Your fingers tend to swell throughout the day.

If your normal ring already fits snugly, stick with your usual US size.

Best Finger Placement

For the most accurate readings, we recommend wearing Sona Ring on your:

Index Finger (Recommended)

You can also wear it on your:

  • Middle Finger
  • Ring Finger
  • Thumb (if comfortable)

Avoid wearing Sona Ring on your pinky finger whenever possible, as sensor accuracy may be reduced.

Between Two Sizes?

Choose the smaller size if:

  • You want the most accurate tracking.
  • Your fingers rarely swell.
  • You prefer a secure fit.

Choose the larger size if:

  • Your fingers swell often.
  • You plan to wear Sona Ring all day and overnight.
  • You're between sizes.
